The last PDD meeting was in the Buzz Ware Village Center in Arden and focused on a screening of "Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers". Here is a brief report from the field.
It's hard to find the Buzz Ware Village Center in Arden on a dark and rainy night but 37 intrepid souls showed up on Wednesday night to watch Iraq For Sale: The War Profiteers. It's hard to watch a movie about people dying for corporate profit. It's hard to see the graphs of billions and billions of taxpayer dollars that have gone to pay Halliburton/KBR, CACI, Blackwater, and the other profiteers, but 37 intrepid souls watched. And 37 intrepid souls left the meeting more committed than ever to work to overturn the REPUBLICAN mismanegment of this country.Well, nobody ever joined PDD becuase they thought fighting against Republican malfeasance and Democratic accomodationist was going to be easy. Stay tuned for some exciting PDD plans that look beyond this November and toward building a progressive majority in Delaware and the country.
