Celia, you're breaking my heart..
Youre shaking my confidence daily Oh, cecilia, Im down on my knees Im begging you please to come home Come on home
Making love in the afternoon with cecilia Up in my bedroom (making love) I got up to wash my face When I come back to bed Someones taken my place ..........
My Dad was never elected to anything - so I don't expect a Delawareliberal story anytime soon.
"Anonymous said... Blogs are just a fad. Like rock and roll, they'll never last."
I disagree and think they will become more advanced. I think we take our trun blowing a lot of hot air however it does give people a place we they can let it out and express themselves
Kilroy, that was my first reaction, but then I thought about it...his statement is what they said about Rock-n-Roll in the 50's. Where is it today? Still alove, quite diversified, and here to stay. That was my take after a few minutes of thought.
I had a little fun at the forum in Pikes Creek coming in late and sitting with Dana and Mike Matthews we started isolating some of the sudience for porential abuse during questioning.
First spotted was Roger Roy next to Pam Maier (sp?) and Rep. Miro across the church in the rear.
I had a savory question to ask from the floor that would have brought the DelDOT-developer scandals and the epilogue method of legislating behind the scenes right out in the open.
Roy ends up moving so that he is sitting directly behind us. We were not allowed to ask any questions because the WILM host took up all the mic time.
Jack Markell came over to our group after he spoke and as I introduced myself he stopped me saying that he already knew who I was and claimed to read all of our blogs....so from the mouth of a pol, yes, we rate a fair amount of attention.
Ron Williams was there too, sitting behind us and as Mike pointed him out to me, I paused. I had stared at thim earlier trying to place that mug!!
Ron is a lot shorter and older than one would have imagined from his photo.
All you need to know about Delaware Grapevine can be summed up in two sentences:
1) Celia Cohen refuses to reveal her source of funding.
2) She refers to the site as an "online newspaper," and it is, combining the low circulation of a blog with the unwillingness to allow reader feedback of a newspaper.
