So far, no one has been charged in the alleged terror plot to blow up several airplanes across the Atlantic. No evidence has been produced supporting the contention that such a plot was indeed imminent. - Andrew Sullivan

It's increasingly likely that the whole British plot wasn't much more of a big deal than the idiotic nonsense in Florida awhile back. - Eschaton

I wonder if Michael Castle will take this opportunity to remind us that George Bush is great and we are "safer now" since the "Taliban no longer rules Afganhistan"?

Still no comment from his on that whether he stands by that statement by the way. I'll report what his office says when (if) they say something.

This time I kept the receipt for all those tarps and duct tape.

umm "Bring it On"

Only 83 days left until Mr. Castle is defeated.

It's much easier to "quote" Andrew Sullivan than it is o find out if arrests have actually been made, which they have.
R & J mentioned you again today in that same tone as before. HAW! Pregressive Dems...Blind Loyalists...Jason Scott. HAW!

Where is that dissertation on Dave Crossan already? Still waiting...
R&J need to get a life. If mentioning me on the radio is what they think of as a "ratings getter" they are as deluded as Mr. Castle.

This is such BS

LONDON—Police detained a new suspect yesterday in the alleged plot to blow up jetliners over the Atlantic, the first arrest since authorities detained two dozen people last week and threw Britain's airports into turmoil by imposing tougher security.
The announcement came after police said they raided two Internet cafés near the homes of some suspects and a news report said officers may have found a rifle and a pistol in a search of woodlands in the same area.

The miami cell was"detained" as well. If you want to continue on with your fantasy world thinking - fine with me, just don;t try to drag me into your neverland.
You can all stop talking about Bush, Castle, and terrorism now - it's August, and right on cue we have a Dead Blonde Girl who requires all available headline space.
Of course, if the terror plot was undiscovered, thousands of dead Americans would be floating in the Atlantic and Jason would be screaming about how Bush "has done nothing about terror" since 9/11.

It's the proverbial "can't win" scenario. This sort of crap grows old real fast, Jase. Cathartic after a while, but the one-trick pony theme really wears on one.
I think you meant to say "...thousands of pretend dead Americans would be floating in the imaginary Atlantic of Bush's mind..."
Terror detectives 'find bomb kit' [UK airline plot]

BBC News on line ^ | August 17, 2006 | Unsigned
Police probing an alleged plot to bring down an airline have found a suitcase containing items which could be used to construct a bomb, the BBC has learned. Officers have been searching a piece of land called King's Wood in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. A police source told the BBC the case contained "everything you would need to make an improvised device". Other officers have only confirmed that a suitcase was found. Scotland Yard has not officially commented on any finds. A police spokeswoman said some 49 residential and business premises and one area of woodland had been searched in connection...
hr biggest joke is Bushco fans giving the US credit for this bust for the cell discovery using (illegal but security inducing?) US spying techniques....the cell was handed to the Brits months ago...thank say that a non GOPer would be glad to see this plot pulled off is lowdown dirty and just what I have come to expect from the worst of the DE RWN bloggers.
Like the slander that Coulter slings, you people sing to yourselves in a corner while the rest of the world tries to manage.
Hube, I am not referring to your comment here
