KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (AP) Four Canadian soldiers under NATO command died in Taliban attacks Thursday in southern Afghanistan, where 21 civilians were killed by a suicide car bombing near Canadian military vehicles in a crowded market.
Regurgitating White House talking points, and taking the reality denying GOP position -Michael Newbold Castle famously said "We are more secure today than we were two years ago. The Taliban no longer rules Afghanistan..."
While he has a point, the Taliban may not "rule"
Afghanistan, Castle's unwillingness to challenge this President and his refusal to apologize for chairing Bush's election campaigns, hocks a loogie in the face of decency.
