I'm warming up to Rahm Emanuel

Rep. Rahm Emanuel (Ill.), chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, said Friday he is not worried about the fallout from the Senate primary on House races, arguing that the message from Connecticut is that anyone supporting BushÂ’s war policies is in deep trouble. "What’s playing out here is that being a rubber stamp for George Bush is politically dangerous to life-threatening,” he said.

I could not have said that better myself. Connecticut like Delaware is desperate for a Congress that will say "NO!" to this out of control President. This Tuesday is just beginningning, we comingfor you Mr. Castle, you rubber stamping, Bush supporting fraud.

Comments:
You mean Rahm "Don't sweat the details" Emanuel?

The bogus war and the economic train wreck that the war is causing is the micro and the macro issue. It IS the detail

I know guys like you and Castle want to imagine that the war is going swell - but the voters are noot buying it.

What he meant was don't pay attention to the fact that the Dems killed the minimum wage bill when they try to blame the GOP for it. That's his MO. Play politics and count on the fact that people aren't paying attention.

(back from vacation)

How can you not love someone whose first name means 'high' and who had Josh Lyman's character based on him?

Plus, one of our friends from school works for him and says he's the man.

And besides which, it's nice to see someone in the Dem leadership (if backhandedly) give it to The Lieb.

No where else to put this.
