Does Michael Newbold Castle Even know that we are at war in Iraq?

That is a serious question.

His campaign web-site the word Iraq appears ZERO times.

Check it out.

Since Bush says that we are going to be in Iraq until Jan 20th 2009 no matter what. Shouldn't our at large member of Congress to have some kind of position on the war?

To give you an idea of Castle's priorities - the word "contribute" appears 5 times.

Comments:
The word "Bush" is also MIA. Hmmm...?

The website you link to is described as "A PAC established to accept contributions and make expenditures on behalf of Congressman Michael N. Castle (R-DE)".

Go look at it. It appears to still be under construction, and does not mention any issues. It's sole purpose is to raise funds for the campaign, something every candidate's website does.

You can't say that the website proves that Castle is trying to ignore Iraq. The site doesn't mention stem cell research, abortion, the economy, terrorism, immigration or any other issue. Whoever created the site either decided not to include an Issues page, or hasn't gotten around to it yet.

Then look at Castle's congressional website.

http://www.house.gov/castle/

This site contains an extensive "Castle on the Issues" page. It looks like it hasn't been updated for a while, but it does include a page on defense issues, including Iraq.

Thanks for the link. I had no idea that things were going so well in Iraq:

There have been three successful elections held in Iraq since the overthrow of Saddam Hussein's regime, and in recent weeks significant progress, both politically and militarily, has been made in the region. As a former member of the House Intelligence Committee, I firmly believe that the elimination of al-Zarqawi will prove to be a key psychological and organizational blow to al Qaeda's terrorist network.

It is good to know that our at-large rep has such a great graps on reality.
