Are these really the kind of people that Tom Carper wants to get into bed with?
We know how horrible Joe Lieberman is, but what about his horrible supporters? Does Tom Carper really want to hang out with the likes of this...
In her August 9 column, right-wing pundit Ann Coulter wrote of African-American Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA):
Congresswoman Maxine Waters had parachuted into Connecticut earlier in the week to campaign against [Sen. Joseph I.]
Lieberman because he once expressed reservations about affirmative action, without which she would not have a job that didn't involve wearing a paper hat. Waters also considers Joe "soft" on the issue of the CIA inventing crack cocaine and AIDS to kill all the black people in America.
I tend to pass on Coulter stories becuase you get the feeling that she gets off on having her name typed by the likes of me. However, if Carper endorses Joe Lieberman you have to wonder - ARE HIS SHOTS UP TO DATE?

Dems authorized the war because Bush lied to them about WMD intel and about the exit strategy.
After the lies were exposed, Dems changed their minds based on the new information.
But Republicans continued to support all Bush policies.

Maybe Carper is balancing his thoughts on: Go to bed with Leiberman, or go to bed with one-source Jason? Hmmm...I need to travel to Europe to think this one through. Must be tough.
Wow. Do you think Bush knew about Carper's trip and f'ed up his return trip by forcing the Brits to arrest the "so-called" terrorists? I think I got it! Bush did it to mess with Carper: "Stay away from Jason and stay with Joe L or you will never get home! BWA-HA-HA-HA!"
I am just so wrong, but it feels so good. I got that story from only one source, but that was good enough for me. Oh, that one source was me, too.
