The Republican Vision fo America - WWIII 24/7/365 FOREVER

Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich says America is in World War III and President Bush should say so. In an interview in Bellevue this morning Gingrich said Bush should call a joint session of Congress the first week of September and talk about global military conflicts in much starker terms than have been heard from the president.
"We need to have the militancy that says 'We're not going to lose a city,' " Gingrich said. He talks about the need to recognize World War III as important for military strategy and political strategy.

Gingrich said he is "very worried" about Republican's facing fall elections and says the party must have the "nerve" to nationalize the elections and make the 2006 campaigns about a liberal Democratic agenda rather than about President Bush's record.

Shorter Newt: It's important to start World War III, otherwise the Democrats will win the midterms in 2006 and the Republican Congress will not be able to prevent America from losing a city.

Comments:
McCain vs. Hillary can be stopped by Biden-Gingrich '08 ONLY. (The McCain-Biden hypo is now as dead as McCain is with the core conscientious Republican / libertarians he abandoned for Bush big government socialism and neo-con entanglements.)

Gingrich aside, Biden is on track to be the next President -- certainly the only electable Democrat.

Here is a (harsh) endorsement by a libertarian who is realistic enough to see that Biden can win :

I can't believe I said that, but I have not seen a more natural impromptu dovetail between two radically different politicians, ever. Newt offers realism, Biden offers diplomacy. The two perfectly nullify the surface-level animosity that may be lingering with the moderates in each others party.

Demographically and fundamentally it is a dream ticket. Southern intellectual conservative, untainted by the implosion of the dirtbags who engineered a coup against him and the national GOP stooges of late, and a northeast Democrat hawk.

Both cited JFK. Both gave excellent specifics and both built on each other's thoughts, ending it all with a chuckle by Biden and rare post-interview jovial banter while on air.

Newt was brilliant in completing thoughts initiated by Biden's often self-congratulatory criticisms of Bush. Biden talked about a lack of any US success in creating an effective bureaucracy in Iraq.....Gingrich perfectly closed the circle by all but saying : our own bureaucracy is so incompetent what did you expect?

Gingrich openly strikes out against Bush and leftover Clinton policies......North Korea : "a failed policy".

Jason, you are apparently hallucinating your most condemnatory quotes of Gingrich. Those were not in the Meet the Press program.

Now I've heard everything. "Biden-Gingrich" is a dream ticket and god knows, the world needs it's dreamers.

It sounds crazy now, but wait until things start coming unhinged. You may as well fire up the BBQ for all your sacred cows, J-Bag!

J-Bag... finally a nickname I can live with. Where have you been all my life?

As far as my sacred cows are concerned I'm ready to roast every single one. Infact I'm itching to. The problem is nobody comes with anything close to a cogent argument or a fact.

It's about leaps of faith with you guys. Faith in the Deus ex machana of calamity, faith in Yeti's, faith in everything other than first hand experience.

Well if first hand experience means being glued to a computer screen writing blogs in a vacuum, you got me.

no, Gingrich is wrong. The Cold War was WW III, the GWOT will be WW IV, if it escalates.

Nice! Where you get this guestbook? I want the same script.. Awesome content. thankyou.
