Prominent right-wing blogger calls for the murder of Supreme Court Justices - the Right fails to condemn it

This is by Glenn Greenwald:

The blogger Misha of the blog Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler is one of the most linked-to and popular bloggers in the right-wing blogosphere. He's the 42nd most linked-to blogger on the Internet, and he is in the blogroll of scores of right-wing bloggers, such as Michelle Malkin and Captian's Quarters Blog. He wrote a post yesterday discussing the Supreme Court's decision in Hamdan and here is what he said:

Of course, this is the same Supreme Court that earlier decided in Kelo that private property rights only matter as long as a private company doesn’t offer a better deal, above or below the table, to local authorities, so one shouldn’t really be surprised. The unelected, black-robed tyrants have a long history of not giving a fig about the Constitution if they don’t like what it says, not to mention a long tradition of usurping the powers of the legislative and executive branch by ruling by judicial fiat. . . .

Try doing anything to those mutilating darlings of the Supremes in order to extract life-saving intel from them, and then wait for the Supreme Whores to decide that you were “humiliating” them in doing so.

Five ropes, five robes, five trees.

Some assembly required.

They want to kill, not only liberals, but Justices. Where is the outrage?

Comments:
Somehow I feel that if it was Kos calling for Bush to be murdered by a lynch mob, we'd be hearing about it.

Outrage.

But if you follow Misha, which I don't, outrageous is usually what you get.

He makes a great point, then he goes and blows it by saying something inexcusable like that.

I feel better....I guess.

never heard of him (her?) sound like JAE with better gramar. a direct link would have helped in making an informed judgement.

sorry jason, it's hard to make a mob with pitchforks and torches advancing on the Supreme Court sound humorus. Maybe a mob of lawyers with briefcases and articles of impeachment...

no.. lawyers are only funny when you run them over with a steam roller.

I guess you forgot District Judge Joan H. Lefkow who found her husband and mother shot dead in the basement of her home in March 2005? Or when, shortly after that incident, Tom Delay said “The time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior” in the well of the U.S. Senate, referring to the judges in Florida who upheld the order to let Terri Schiavo die. Or maybe you forgot that the chief of staff for OK Sen. Tom Coburn said that "I'm not for impeaching judges. I'm for impaling them!" It's not just Misha - whoever that is - making these statements, it's the leaders of the Republican Party!

There is no party or ideological bent to the advocacy of violence or murder. It only comes from one side : THE WRONG SIDE. Anyone, right or left, advocating such things should be bludgeoned royally by liberals and conservatives alike. I cannot race to the line fast enough to put such people in their places. I guess this is what certain so-called 'conservatives' have become in the age of a bloodthirsty, cut-throat, criminal Presidency.

On another note of Texas trash -- DeLay is a piece of shit, period. No if's, and's, or but's. I never liked that son-of-a-bitch from the first time I laid eyes on his roach-killing, tinhorn, backwater face. He does not represent conservatism, but rather authoritarian, self-serving, pompous, corrupt religious national socialism. Nothing that crook says or does can be backed up by any conservative thinker in time immemorial (mind you, I say THINKER...not to be confused with the sycophantic, parrot-like verbal diahrreists we have polluting the net and the airwaves today, who wouldn't know conservatism if it pierced their cranium with a pick-axe).

I have to confess to being amused after choosing this pseudonym a while back only to hear recently of John Dean's new book : 'Conservatives Without Conscience'. Tell it, JD. He knew when wrong was wrong. Another hero who saw villainy up close and turned against it.

Peace, Everybody!

I can think of a couple right-wing judges I would like to see dead.

You gonna flame me, Jason?

Mike,

What happened to Sebastian?

No clue...haven't heard from him. I'm asking myself the same question.
