Ting needs no detractors with supporters like these nuts
Ting's campaign is only days old, but he seems to have already won the endorsement of Delaware's crazy freakshow caucus.
Item 1
In the comment section of an ironically titled post "Quote of the Week" Ryan lashes out at Mike Protack and dirty rotten un-American progressives like myself:
Progressives want to rid the United States of the foundation it enjoys by legalizing gay marriage, protecting the killing of unborn children, allowing an open border policy for "multiculturalism," the abandonment of traditional gender roles, and the enslavement of the federal government and people to entitlement programs.
Now, I don't expect Ryan to make sense, but this would make Sean Hannity blush.
Item 2 In a recent Delawarewatch thread, the Ting supporters went off the deep end. I will not link, but here is a little taste. ..a website may be set up so Delaware women can relate stories concerning (Carper's) track record at political events and fund raisers where he has hit on them, made inappropriate comments about their breasts...(snip)
I personally have heard many stories where Carper, when in small groups of people (two or three people) at non-profit fundraisers, has made quite unfathomable comments to women, while rubbing their arms, and leering at that their breasts.
A website...? Could this website concept be Dave Crossan's handiwork? I doubt it, even Crossan could not be that stupid.
These are probably free agent nut cases. Nevertheless, they don't exactly make you want to run out and sign up with Ting do they?

Rove and Bush have had a devastating effect on that party, but it pales in comparison to the devastating effect they have had on the country.
At least Protack was in the military and defended the nation - unlike Ting or Ryan or many other GOP Chickenhawks.

I would not count Ting out just yet!
I only hope and pray the progressive Dems come up with a realistic, viable candidate to primary Carper before it is too late.
I am hearing rumors that the philandering, pants-zipping-challenged, wife-beating, Carper may be in for his just desserts.
There are rumors that a campaign (unaffiliated with the R’s) will emerge to “swift-boat” Carper, highlighting how his life-long misogynistic, good-ol’-boy ways have translated into numerous anti-woman votes in the U.S. Senate. That Senator Carper has repeatedly voted against women in the U.S. Senate. He is the anti-woman candidate!! And when you vote for someone that beats and cheats on his wife that is what you should expect. There may even be a woman who had an affair with Carper that is about to come forward. And that a website may be set up so Delaware women can relate stories concerning the Good Senator’s track record at political events and fund raisers where he has hit on them, made inappropriate comments about their breasts, or tattoos, or engaged in other activity that would clearly be recognized as sexual harassment if this was any state other than Delaware.

The "crazy freakshow" caucus draws its memebership from every political party and persuasion.
