Michael Castle Thinks Bush Should STILL be President*

I found this picture of "Fake Moderate" Michael Castle heading into a House GOP breakfast with his pals Tom DeLay, Roscoe Bartlett and Trent Franks on the new Spivack for Congress Campaign blog. (Notice the new addition to the blog roll.)

If anybody has any worthy additions to the new "Campaign blogs" category let me know.

* I know the header has nothing to do with the post, but I just can't get over the fact that Castle chaired Bush's re-election campaign in Delaware, and STILL thinks that the President is doing a good job. He is either stupid or a liar, and I know Castle is not stupid.

Comments:
Castle doesn’t want Bush impeached so that means he thinks Bush is doing a good job. I get it.

Exactly. Talk about falling ass-backward into the truth. This is about as black and white an issue as you can get in American politics.

With what we now know about Bush, you are either on the side of truth, justice, and the American way - OR - Like Castle, you are on the side of proping up a corrupt, lying, incompetent, criminal administration.

When are they going to put a comments section in the Spivack blog?

I was sorry to see no comments too but I get it!!

Regarding Spivak blog comments...

Yes, trolls may attack the blog, but that is just the way it is. When you build a community on a blog, it can either respond or ignore the trolls, and they will either go away or have their comments thoughtfully debunked. I think that the potential reward of building a Spivak for congress community on-line that motivates, coordinates, and contributes (and also has fun) is far greater than any risks. You can have a clear disclaimer regarding that writings are not the opinions of the candidate, etc. (which everybody knows anyway).

Why don't you just try it and see what happens? You have nothing to lose (you can always take it down), but much to gain.

Open comments are fine for random blogs, but not for an official campaign blog; there's too much opportunity for mischief, or at least misunderstanding. Come on, if you are running a campaign you need to control your content.

You can find plenty of anon political blogspace around without needing Spivack's site... but you knew that already, didn't you!

Dean had a campaign blog, and raised tons of money and support with it. "Control your content" Then moderate the blog if that's what it takes. Spivack is going to need every tool he can get his hands on, and blogs are great for building a campaign. He is not going to win without taking some risks, getting noticed, connecting with people, and building a community. A one-way blog is just boring. I wouldn't read this blog if it wasn't commented.

Dean had a campaign blog...

You mean his tax-hiking, government-expanding, latte-drinking, sushi-eating, Volvo-driving, New York Times-reading, Hollywood-loving, left-wing freak show?

Just kidding - those are my people!
