Fake Moderate Michael Castle Sticks With Bush...

...while Christians denounce Bush's immoral and unethical budget.

Government funding is not the solution to all needs, but the budget process is a road map for how leaders plan to navigate our country's challenges and opportunities. The economic security of every family in this country is a moral opportunity and challenge. But our investment to strengthen families' opportunities - and hope - is being sacrificed for luxuries for a few.

The National Catholic Report (not exactly a bunch of lefties) also blasts the Bush budget.

By This Budget, We've Lost Our Way

If budgets are, as some contend and we would agree, moral documents, then this one suggests we have abandoned a basic sense of right and wrong and any notion that we are at our best when we strive to make life better for all, not just those who manage to accumulate wealth.

... but Michael Castle just loves it.

There is a big difference between Jim Wallis/Sojourners/ultra-left Christians and James Dobson/Focus on the Family/ultra-right Christians. I'm sure there are "Christians" who are just fine with the budget.
I'm no theologian, but I don't know how you could be fine with the budget and consider yourself Christian.
Mike Castle is showing a side that few will appreciate here in DE.
Good job (on several posts lately)of showing how his votes go with the RNC when they need him...and not with his electorate.
DT has challenged your premise.
I'm no theologian, but I don't know how you could be fine with the budget and consider yourself Christian.

Jason, I bet if someone said to you, "I don't know how you can be against the Iraq War and consider yourself an American," you'd be pissed, and rightly so. So I'm guessing that Christian comment was a joke, right? Right?
