Bush Botchery and Bungling Sets the Stage for Iraqi Civil War
As if any additional evidence of Bush's complete incompetence was needed:
- Bombers blasted the gilded dome of one of Shiite Islam's holiest shrines into naked steel and gaping blue sky Wednesday.
- In Al-Basrah, gunmen stormed a prison and killed 11 suspected Sunni militants.
- Three journalists working for Al-Arabiyah television were found shot dead after being attacked while filming in Samarra.
- Through White House spokesman Scott McClellan, U.S. President George W. Bush urged Iraqis to show restraint.
- "[U.S. President George W. Bush asks] all Iraqis to exercise restraint in the wake of this tragedy, and to pursue justice in accordance with the laws and constitution of Iraq," McClellan said. "Violence will only contribute to what the terrorists sought to achieve by this act."
UPDATE: From the CNN Home page ticker - Referring to debate over foreign operations of U.S. ports, President Bush says "people don't need to worry about security."

I know. The mind reels. Everyday is just another day deeper into the rabbit hole.
I think I just heard something on the white noise top 40 station we listen to about Dick Cheney being drunk when he shot that guy in the face. It was not a comedy bit, but sounded like breaking news.

After all the Iraqis have been through, now they are spoiling for a civil war? These people's appetite for death is endless.
