Castle Pulls a John Kerry

If you search for "Michael Castle" in google news today, you will see this:

"Michael Castle of Delaware, said he voted for the bill only after he was assured that the measure's impact on the poor would be softened in conference. " It sounds like he vote FOR it, befor he voted AGAINST it.

If this sounds familiar, it is becuase Mike likes to pretend to be a moderate, THEN vote with the radical right-wing of the Republican party. And, when you are "assured" something by the radical right-wing of the Republican party, you know you can take that to the bank, becuase they are honorable men.

Comments:
I don't know if anyone else has picked up on the "capture and release" program the Republicans have been using in the house. It is exactly what it says. Once they have enough votes to pass a bill they "release" the members who come from blue districts so they can vote "moderate". It is cynicism at it's apex! Absolutely no conscience, no values, pure political hackery! Gosh I hate being manipulated.

"Castle pulls a John Kerry"

You mean he accused U.S. troops of war crimes, of terrorizing Iraqi children?

LOL DV'06! You are putting us on, right? You are not going to tell us that you were not aware that this type of thing goes on in Washington, were you? And that both parties did it all the time? It's referred to as "politics", DV!

Why is it that libs only notice and complain about things like this when the opposing party engages in it? (rhetorical question)
