Those Wacky Republicans

It is not surprising that the folks who did not have a plan for the occupation of Iraq, have resorted to this:

"Mr. Warner said he decided to take the Democratic proposal and edit it to his satisfaction in an effort to find common ground between the parties on the issue."

The good news is that the Republicans are finally starting to come around on Iraq. Being President Bush, or his zombie apologists must not be much fun right now.

Comments:
I'm surprised you don't believe true compromise is possible. And I think the Republicans are absolutely wrong in asking for an arbitrary timeline. What a gift to Zarqawi!

Our undermanned incompetent occupation is the gift. Our use of torture is a gift to their recruiting efforts. having a President who does not know the difference between Sunni and Shiite is a gift.

Bush is a freaking Santa Claus when it comes to giving gifts to terrorists.

Yes, the occupation has gone badly.

What is worse for us, our use of tourture, or the media portrayal of it?

And can give the difference between Shi'ia and Sunni? I can if you need it (and with out using Google/Wikipedia).

He is the President, he is supposed to know the difference. He is supposed to not invade countries without plans for the occupation. He is supposed make sure we abide by our treaties and obligations. It is called "leadership".

I never said I didn't believe the President knows the difference, I was asking if you did.
