A Question for Republicans
What do you guys think of JEB Bush?
As a Democrat I kinda of like the idea of a Jeb Bush run. His dim wit brother has ruined the Bush name for the next 200 years.

Indeed. He doesn't have the hurdles that Romney faces (Mormonism, being from Mass), plus he has a longer record than Romney.
I'm not saying I would prefer him to Romney, but I would consider him, and I would happily support him had he won the primary.

As firststate said, if her had a different last name, I think he'd be unstoppable. As a Catholic (even better, a convert), I think he'd be able to explain how conservative principles are truly compassionate to the poor, blunting the traditional Democratic advantage on those issues. (Politically conservative Catholics seem to do a better job of explaining the benefits of conservative policies than do Protestants for some reason.)
