Around the Horn Thursday

Another weekend away from the mothership. But first the news, BERLIN - U.S. and German scientists on Thursday launched a two-year project to decipher the genetic code of the Delawareblogosphere, a feat they hope will help deepen understanding of how modern humans' brains evolved.

Feh! Who needs German scientists?

Sebastian is still gone. (sob)

At Delawarewatch: the ghost dance continues.

Felix (not a racist) at Colossus quotes racists Michel Malkin talking about racist George Bush speaking at the racists NAACP. Long story short: racism.

Dave at First State Politics can't get enough of Joe Lieberman. Dude, is he the "Ferris Wharton" to your "Dana Garrett" or what?

Ryan (yet to enlist) at JTTR is AWOL. Maybe he did enlist? Watch out evil doers, he plays a mean game of RISK.

Karmic Jay might be going to fight the good fight against Dave's favorite Democrat. Give 'em hell Jay.

Donviti says" We are in day two of a possible 3rd day of power outage. Gotta love Chester." Wow. That sucks on so many levels....

Mahaffie is never leaving Vermont.

Tommywonk reports on this quote from Newt Gingrich that I have framed and keep on my desk. "Is the next stage for Condi to go dancing with Kim Jong Il?" Classic! Newt shows he is still crazy and beats up on the adminstration in 12 short words.

Mike M at Down With Absolutes used the words "kerfuffle" and "assholery" in the same post. Double points!!

Who did I leave out? Let me know. Have a good weekend & Peace Out.

Comments:
Fixed. I would be so failing your class. No attention to detail.

Enjoy the weekend.

You do realize who Newt is beating up on with the 'dancing with Kim Jong Il' quote, right?

The gist of the article is that Bush has become some kind of wussy boy Chamberlian trying to appease KIm.

Go Newt!

firststate, looks like a no. Jason doesn't realize that Newt was back-handind Madalien Not-at- Albright

Hey Jase -- Click Me.

Why do I have to take you by the hand evey time?

"What they are doing on North Korea or Iran is what [Sen. John F.] Kerry would do, what a normal middle-of-the-road president would do," he said. "This administration prided itself on molding history, not just reacting to events. Its a normal foreign policy right now. It's the triumph of Kerryism."

AND

Former House speaker Newt Gingrich, who is considering a bid for president, called the administration's latest moves abroad a form of appeasement. "We have accepted the lawyer-diplomatic fantasy that talking while North Korea builds bombs and missiles and talking while the Iranians build bombs and missiles is progress," he said in an interview. "Is the next stage for Condi to go dancing with Kim Jong Il?" he asked, referring to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the North Korean leader.
"I am utterly puzzled," Gingrich added.

Go ahead and push for Newt. That would be great from where I sit.

Wow Jason. it sounds like you'd have our leaders actively try to avoid war. I hate people like you who undermine our fearfulness!

What we need to do is kill more people in there own countries! The only thing they want is to kill us. Therefore the only sane course is to control them ALL. THAT will make us safe (and it's easily affordable, since deficits now don't matter).

No matter how many fools want us to be ready for war but work for peace, Newt is my War Daddy (to hell with Junior Seau).

By the way, I'm glad Newt is keeping Madeline Albright in line. She has a lot of control these days.

Disgusting Ann Coulter was suggesting that we carpet bomb alll our world "enemies".

The level of evil in MSM these days......... She was on a Hannity extravaganza at 6 Flags (I am now boycotting that place and anywhere that gives him a platform EXCEPT WDEL.....)

Yeah, you know there's a great show on WILM at 3:00 opposite Hannity...

I was thinking that same thing.

Thanks by the way....
